The Symphony of the Americas' Holiday Spectacular was a delightful and melodious wonder for the entire family. With an ensemble of musicians in prime form lead by Artistic Director James Brooks-Bruzzese and special guest conductor Alessandro Siciliani along with the keyboard duo of Dunlap and Pennington, so much holiday cheer could be felt that Santa and Mrs. Claus even made an appearance! The keyboard duo will be traveling together for scheduled performances as well as in different directions during some weeks of October. Dunlap will fly to the U.K. to the Wersi International Festival where he will be the ONLY U.S. artist invited to both perform and lecture. While he is abroad, Pennington will be in Dallas to attend the national conference of NETA (National Education Television Association) a gathering of PBS stations where he will be promoting Dunlap and Pennington's new television special: "DUNLAP and PENNINGTON - S.R.O" (Standing Room Only).
The internationally acclaimed keyboard duo have accepted an invitation to showcase their amazing stage show at the annual conference of PAE-South Arts to be held in Atlanta from September 29th through October 2nd. The conference is widely recognized as the most important gathering of Presenters and Artists throughout the Southeastern region of the U.S.
Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese announced this month that Dunlap and Pennington will be the special guest artists for the Symphony's gala Holiday Spectacular. There will be two performances. Plans have been announced for Dunlap and Pennington to perform a whirlwind tour of the state of Arizona in February of 2015. At least thirteen dates were scheduled, however in recent conversation the promoter revealed that the internationally acclaimed duo is already scheduled for MORE than 13 dates! Details to follow.
It was a wrap as the film production crew finished their work on the Dunlap and Pennington Television Special for PBS stations on August 2, 2014. The project has now gone into post-production for editing and finishing touches. Rumor has it that the final version will possibly be released for broadcast in time for the new year! Excitement is running high in both the D&P camp as well as the production studios!
